LORDS HEAD LANE WARMSWORTRH DONCASTER PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from
proceeding in that length of Lords Head Lane at Warmsworth in the City of Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule 
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works to install a temporary entrance to the site for a new housing development and allow heavy plant to mobilise onsite and bulk material deliveries.


NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Lords Head Lane, Broomhouse Lane, Edlington Lane and vice versa.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including the 6th day of November 2024 or until the works which it is  proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Grove.
Dates and Times
On or after 06:00hrs 6th November 2023 util 17:00hrs 6th November 2024
The road may be closed on up to 20 separate occasions, with each occasion lasting no longer than 5 consecutive days. Works may occur on a weekend. This process is weather dependent and as such exact dates for each location cannot be given.

Dear Sir/ Madam

Public Consultation - Proposed Residential Development at land at Sheffield Road, Warmsworth We are writing to you on behalf of Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire to provide information on a public exhibition event relating to new housing development within your local area.

The site comprises of agricultural land to the north of Warmsworth Halt and south of Sheffield Road, Warmsworth, as shown on the enclosed plan. The site was allocated for housing (under ref: MUA46) within the Doncaster Local Plan, which was adopted in September 2021.

Taylor Wimpey submitted a full planning application to the City of Doncaster Council in December 2022 (under ref: 22/02834/FULM). The proposals include 126 residential dwellings, access, public open space and associated Infrastructure, to create a high quality development that compliments the existing community. We have previous written to local residents to seek your views on the proposals.

Following receipt of consultee and public comments, Taylor Wimpey and the project team have revised the design of the scheme to respond to the feedback received. Before we formally submit the updated scheme as part of the ongoing planning application, we want to invite local residents and stakeholders to review the proposals and provide feedback.

We have organised a public exhibition event on 20th July 2023 at the Holiday Inn in Warmsworth and we would like to invite you to join us any time between 2pm and 7pm to review the proposals and meet with the project team, who can answer any queries you may have.

Following the event, we invite you to email comments to consultation@nineteen47.co.uk, using the subject line ' Sheffield Road, Warmsworth. Alternatively, you can provide comments in writing to the address at the bottom of this letter.

In line with data protection requirements, your comments will be reviewed to inform the planning proposals, but all feedback will be anonymous and no personal information will be used. Your email will not be used for marketing purposes.
