It is our sad duty to report the death of long serving and deeply respected Councillor Alan Bennett

Alan died peacefully with his wife and family with him whilst at his daughter's house in London.

When we know any further details we will be happy to share them and in the meantime our thoughts are with his wife, daughter and all the family.
